Ban ListI have now created a ban list.Those who are banned can see who they are and why they have been banned. I have been asked by a number of people to allow guests to post here so that the banned can explain themselves. But i deceided against it as it would be more work for the MOD's and me. For all the banned the forums e-mail account is freerideforever@hotmail.co.uk All comments on you being banned goes there please, no fake accounts or they will be banned and you will be banned for longer. Ban List Dark_Lord: Posting inappropriate pornagraphic material on the forum. You are now banned for 2 weeks starting from 21.00 24th November 2006-21.00 8th December. can i just point out,
if thier IP is dynamic then you cant ban them for life. i'm confident that i'd still be able to get on as my computer makes its ip address up just to keep other systems happy and if i choose i can change my ip manually. just thought you ought to be aware of the shortcomings of relying on blocking IP's altering someones password to lock thier account works tho, but keep thier e-mail address the same as it is so that they have the hassle of getting a new address to make a new account. |

you could block the provider...
bit harsh to block everyone using NTL though.. or maybe not... lol you could just delete spam/bot/lamer accounts... as its a phpBB tyoe forum you will get lots of accounts register that are not real. These are bots... they will post viagra adverts and the like... just have a clear out once in a while... thats a mods job anyway
